We are a cancer research laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine and Health at The University of Sydney in the Kolling Institute. We are the research arm of the Medical Oncology Department at Royal North Shore Hospital.
Our mission is to fast-track discoveries into clinical practice for improved cancer treatment and better outcomes for cancer patients.

Translational research
Translational research put simply is “bedside to bench to bedside” research.
We take issues that our doctors face in the clinic into the laboratory as our research questions and then translate the answers back to the clinic for improved patient care and management.
